Conduct machine setup adjustments to optimize cutting parameters for different materials such as metals; troubleshoot and resolve machining issues promptly. Perform quality inspections on machined parts using precision measurement tools; verify dimensions against blueprints and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) standards. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols; handle manual machining tasks with hand tools when necessary. Support lean manufacturing initiatives by suggesting process improvements; assist in tooling selection and setup for efficient production cycles. Conduct routine maintenance on CNC equipment to ensure optimal performance; document machine operations and maintenance activities accurately. Requirements Proven experience operating CNC machinery such as CNC lathes and milling machines; familiarity with Fanuc or similar control systems. Strong knowledge of CNC programming languages including G-code, M-code, and CAM software like SolidWorks or CAD for design interpretation. Proficiency in reading mechanical blueprints, technical drawings, and understanding GD&T specifications. Mechanical aptitude with the ability to interpret mechanical blueprints and perform precise measurements using calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and other measurement instruments. Experience with electrical discharge machining (EDM), grinding tools, and various machining tools is preferred. Knowledge of tooling setup, machine calibration, basic math skills for measurement conversions, and manual machining techniques. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining attention to detail. Commitment to safety standards and quality assurance processes throughout all machining operations. If you are passionate about precision manufacturing and eager to contribute your technical expertise within a collaborative team environment, we encourage you to apply today.
