CNC MACHINIST 6
00 am - 3:30 pm $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Set up, operate, and monitor CNC mills and lathes to manufacture parts according to specifications. Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work orders to determine machining and setup requirements. Select and install appropriate tooling, fixtures, and workholding for machining operations. Adjust machine controls, tool offsets, speeds, and feeds to maintain required tolerances and surface finishes. Inspect completed parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision measuring instruments. Monitor machining operations and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality and production standards. Complete required production and quality documentation and report nonconforming parts or equipment issues. Perform routine machine cleaning and basic preventive maintenance. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Follow all safety procedures, quality standards, and company policies.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Previous CNC machining experience operating mills and/or lathes required. Ability to set up and operate CNC mills and CNC lathes. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical specifications. Working knowledge of G-code, tooling, speeds, feeds, and machine offsets. Experience using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and precision measuring equipment. Ability to maintain specified dimensions and tight tolerances. Strong mechanical aptitude with excellent attention to detail and quality. Ability to identify machining or quality issues and make appropriate adjustments. Ability to work independently while meeting production and quality expectations. Dependable, safety-conscious, and able to work effectively in a manufacturing environment.
Pay:
$25.00 - $28.00 per hour
