You will work side-by-side with the owner to learn the ins and outs of Mastercam CAD/CAM software, exponentially increasing your long-term career value and earning potential.
Key Responsibilities Haas Setup & Operation:
Safely set up, fixture, and operate Haas CNC machines (including managing tool offsets, loading programs, and executing dry runs).
Quality Inspection:
Perform first-article and in-process inspections using precision tools (micrometers, calipers) to ensure parts match blueprints.
Problem Solving:
Troubleshoot issues at the machine, recognize tool wear, and confidently navigate Haas controls.
Startup Growth:
Maintain a clean, organized workspace and pitch in where needed to help optimize our workflow as the shop scales.
Minimum 1-3+ years of experience setting up and operating CNC equipment, with a strong preference for Haas machines.
Blueprint Reading:
Strong ability to read engineering drawings and understand basic GD&T.; The "Growth"
Mindset:
A strong desire to learn Mastercam programming, take on responsibility, and adapt quickly to a changing startup environment.
Self-Starter:
Reliability, strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently without supervision. Must be able to pass a standard background check and drug screening.
Compensation & Perks Hourly Rate:
$17.00 to $25.00 / hour base pay to start.
