Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic manufacturing team as a CNC Machinist and become a vital contributor to precision metalworking and manufacturing excellence! In this role, you will operate, set up, and program CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machines to produce high-quality components with accuracy and efficiency. Your expertise in machining tools, blueprint reading, and CNC programming will drive the production of complex parts used across various industries. We are seeking motivated individuals eager to apply their mechanical knowledge and precision measurement skills to deliver outstanding results in a fast-paced environment. Duties Operate CNC milling machines, lathes, grinders, and other machining tools to produce precision parts according to specifications. Set up CNC equipment by installing tooling, fixtures, and calibration devices; ensure proper machine alignment and safety protocols. Program CNC machines using G-code, M-code, Fanuc controls, and CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) software to optimize machining processes. Interpret mechanical blueprints and technical drawings accurately, utilizing measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and coordinate measuring machines for quality control. Conduct machine maintenance, troubleshooting, and adjustments to ensure consistent performance and adherence to quality standards. Perform precision measurements during machining processes to verify dimensions and tolerances; document inspection results for quality assurance. Support lean manufacturing initiatives by optimizing workflows, reducing waste, and maintaining a clean work environment. Requirements Proven experience operating CNC machinery such as CNC lathes or milling machines; familiarity with CNC G-code programming is essential. Strong understanding of blueprint reading, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), and mechanical blueprint interpretation. Proficiency with CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software like SolidWorks or similar programs for part design review. Knowledge of machining tools including grinders, hand tools, power tools, tooling setups, and measurement instruments like micrometers and bore gauges. Mechanical aptitude with basic math skills for precise measurement calculations and machine setup adjustments. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining attention to detail. Join us in shaping the future of manufacturing through precision craftsmanship! We are committed to providing a safe workplace where your skills are valued—and where your career can grow through continuous learning and innovation.
