Monday - Friday 7:00 AM - 3:30
PM Pay:
$22.00-26.00 per hour (DOE)

POSITION SUMMARY
The REV6 Machinist is responsible for machining engine components to precise tolerances, including boring and honing cylinders and rebuilding and repairing crankshafts. This role requires strong precision and mechanical skill, as machining accuracy is critical to engine performance and longevity.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Bore and hone cylinders to specified tolerances Rebuild and repair crankshafts according to shop procedures Measure and inspect machined components to confirm they meet specifications Select proper tooling and machine settings for each job Document machining work performed, including measurements and photos where needed Communicate damaged or out-of-tolerance components to the Machine Area Manager Maintain machining equipment and keep the machine area clean, organized, and safe Follow all safety procedures when operating machining equipment
QUALIFICATIONS
Prior experience operating boring bars, honing machines, or similar precision machining equipment Experience with crankshaft rebuild and repair a plus Ability to read and work to precise tolerances and specifications Basic computer proficiency; experience with Asana or similar project management tools a plus Good organizational and time-management skills Reliable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a team
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Standing, bending, and moving throughout a shift Comfortable working in a shop/warehouse environment Comfortable operating precision machining equipment for extended periods
