milling and turning centers Manage the setup and operation of manual milling and turning equipment Restore and repair components through re-machining processes Support production by handling surface grinding, saw cutting, deburring, and sanding tasks Contribute to a safer and more efficient shop by keeping your workspace tidy Execute standard maintenance tasks for shop equipment Required Skills and Experience Proven background in the operation and programming of CNC mills and lathes Practical experience utilizing manual machining tools Background in Wire EDM is considered an advantage Knowledge of FeatureCam software is viewed as a plus Demonstrate technical mastery of machining methods, cutting tools, material properties, and feed/speed optimization Interpret complex shop drawings and blueprints with ease Work effectively with various plastics and both ferrous and non-ferrous metals Possess a personal set of standard machinist tools Ensure high levels of accuracy and efficiency to improve overall production quality Collaborate effectively with colleagues or work autonomously to complete tasks Communicate clearly through both verbal and written channels Maintain a constructive mindset to help resolve technical challenges
