JMG is a job shop serving OEMs throughout Wisconsin. This position is a full-time, first shift opening, M-T 4 x 10's offering flexibility and great benefits in a team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities:
Includes fixture placement and alignment, programming, tool setting, make needed adjustments to programs and offsets to ensure finished parts meet specifications. Perform in-process checks to make certain that the parts run efficiently and accurately to assure quality before approving production. Removes burrs, sharp edges, and clean parts. Study programs, blueprints, manufacturing drawings, tool sheets and manufacturing orders to verify they are correct and fill out proper paperwork when changes are necessary. Follow company rules and safety policies Education and/or Experience Experience with Mazak and Fanuc Controls are preferred. A technical degree or a minimum of 3-5 years of machining and programming is strongly preferred. A high school degree or equivalency is required. Must possess solid blueprint reading skills, strong math skills, and in-process inspection skills and understand both metric and English measurements. Must be proficient at using micrometers, dial calipers, height and depth gauges, and dial indicators to indicate parts and verify dimensions of a workpiece. Willing to work flexible hours and overtime as needed. Excellent attendance record and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
Pay:
$28.00 - $33.00 per hour
