Machine Operator - 1st Shift
Job Description
Share Print Job Description Pay range is about $20 per hour to start.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate machines to produce parts according to specifications
- Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as needed
- Inspect finished products for quality and ensure they meet the required standards
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues that may arise during production
- Perform routine maintenance on machines to keep them in good working condition
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
Experience:
- Previous experience as a Machine Operator or in a similar role is preferred
- Knowledge of machine assembly and operation processes
- Proficiency in basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Ability to read blueprints and interpret technical drawings
- Experience with milling machines, calipers, and other measuring tools
- Understanding of tooling concepts and materials handling
