Call 269-408-6738 7 AM to 5 PM daily The Job We are hiring an experienced Heavy Machinery Operator to operate and test large 20-ton mining vehicles . This position involves safely driving heavy equipment, completing inspections, and providing feedback to engineering teams. What You'll Do Operate and back 20-ton mining vehicles Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections Complete DVIRs and report equipment issues Support vehicle hardware and software testing Provide feedback to engineers on vehicle performance Operate other fleet vehicles when needed Follow all safety and DOT requirements Requirements 5+ years of heavy equipment operating experience Experience with rigid-frame or articulated haul trucks preferred Comfortable operating and backing large mining vehicles Clean driving record Able to pass background check, road test, drug test, MVR, and DOT physical Able to drive for extended periods CDL-A is a plus, but not required Interest in autonomous vehicle technology Travel Must be willing to travel up to 50% .
