Position Summary The machine operator l role is responsible for basic machine operation with little to no automation and performing changeovers requiring minimal use of tools. Read production orders to verify quality standards for quantities and labeling. Perform preventive maintenance on equipment, First Piece Article Inspection, complete scrap paperwork and reporting as well as other quality duties as needed. Position carries an additional $2.00 per hour shift differential for 2nd shift. Responsibilities Make machine adjustments as necessary to produce products that meet company specifications. Request raw materials to the line as needed. Make sure all materials are loaded into the machine in a quick, efficient manner so that downtime is limited. Count and record rejected products and scrap material. Keep work area clean, free from debris and compliant with 5S markings. Clean machinery and work area at the end of each shift. Ensure that all personnel are following plant safety guidelines. Complete production reports.
Qualifications Education and Experience Requirements:
HS Degree or GED Minimal years of manufacturing experience
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Ability to communicate in English Basic troubleshooting skills Ability to pass a tape measure teste
Physical Requirements:

Pay, Benefits, Work Schedule Competitive Compensation Pay Range:
