$26.44 per hour

Schedule:

12-hour shifts; must be available to work any shift, including Saturdays and overtime based on production needs. Position Summary New-Indy Containerboard is seeking a dependable and safety-focused Corrugator Operator to join our manufacturing team at our La Mirada facility. The Corrugator Operator is responsible for operating and supporting corrugator equipment used in the production of corrugated board while maintaining established safety, quality, and production standards. This position requires open availability to work any assigned shift, including 12-hour shifts, Saturdays, and overtime as required by production needs. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Operate and monitor corrugator machinery and related production equipment. Set up, adjust, and operate equipment according to production specifications and work orders. Monitor board quality throughout the production process and make necessary adjustments. Verify materials, measurements, and product specifications to ensure finished products meet quality standards. Perform routine equipment inspections and promptly report mechanical or operational issues. Assist with machine setups, changeovers, and production adjustments. Maintain accurate production and quality records as required. Follow all company safety procedures, including machine guarding, lockout/tagout procedures, and required personal protective equipment. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area. Work collaboratively with operators, production employees, maintenance personnel, and supervisors to meet production goals. Perform other production-related duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred. Previous corrugated packaging or corrugator experience is highly preferred. Ability to safely operate and work around industrial machinery. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and production specifications. Strong attention to safety, quality, and detail. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Reliable attendance and punctuality are required. Must have open availability and be willing to work any assigned shift, 12-hour shifts, Saturdays, and overtime as needed. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during a 12-hour shift. Ability to bend, reach, push, pull, and perform repetitive movements. Ability to safely lift and move materials as required by the position. Ability to work in a manufacturing environment that may include noise, moving machinery, varying temperatures, and other typical industrial conditions.

Compensation Starting Rate:

$26.44 per hour Overtime and other applicable compensation will be paid in accordance with company policy, applicable collective bargaining agreements, and applicable law. New-Indy Containerboard is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
