Experience Requirements No previous braiding machine experience required. Paid training provided. Manufacturing, production, machine operator, assembly, or warehouse experience is a plus. Willingness to work overtime or varying shifts as needed. Physical Capabilities Ability to stand and move throughout the shift in a manufacturing environment. Ability to handle small-gauge wire, bobbins, and production materials. Visual ability to inspect cable braid patterns, wire placement, and product quality. Comfortable working around moving machinery and moderate noise levels while following PPE requirements. Job Duties Operate braid machines used to apply metallic braid to heat trace cable. Load carriers and bobbins with wire materials, including tinned copper and stainless steel. Assist with machine setup and changeovers under supervision. Monitor machine performance and braid patterns during production runs. Inspect finished cable for defects, gaps, loose wires, and uneven coverage. Measure cable dimensions using basic measuring tools and record production data. Complete production paperwork accurately and report equipment or quality concerns promptly.
