Work Schedule:

4 Day Work Week!

• Monday-Thursday 6am - 4pm (1st Shift)
• Monday-Thursday 4pm - 2am (2nd Shift) Curtis Packaging is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Finishing Machine Attendant to support the operation of our windowing and gluing equipment.

The Finishing Machine Attendant plays a critical role in ensuring product quality by feeding cartons into machines, inspecting finished products, packing cartons according to customer specifications, and maintaining a safe, organized work environment. This position requires attention to detail, the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, and a commitment to safety and quality standards.

Essential Responsibilities:

Fan and inspect carton blanks before feeding them into windowing and gluing machines. Identify and remove damaged, defective, or incorrect cartons. Load cartons into machine feed hoppers according to machine operator instructions. Start and stop equipment when directed and report operational issues immediately. Monitor machine operation and notify the operator or supervisor of equipment malfunctions. Inspect finished cartons for defects and quality concerns. Pack finished cartons into corrugated cases following customer specifications and quality requirements. Maintain accurate carton counts and product integrity during packing operations. Sort, inspect, rework and repack finished products when required. Maintain clean and organized work areas, including proper housekeeping and recycling practices. Follow all departmental and company safety procedures and utilize required personal protective equipment (PPE). Minimum Qualifications Manufacturing or packaging preferred but not required Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions Strong attention to detail and quality standards Ability to work effectively in a team environment Basic mechanical aptitude preferred
