• What You'll Do Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Follow safety rules and look out for yourself and your teammates Work outdoors doing general yard and warehouse labor Sweep, shovel, and keep work areas clean and safe Help weigh, sort, and move scrap metal and materials Operate a forklift (or learn—we train) Inspect incoming scrap and help customers understand what we accept Cross-train and help where needed—no two days are the same This is real, physical work—not a desk job. The harder you work, the more you earn. No experience required—we provide paid training. Job Requirements

• What We're Looking For Dependable workers who show up on time and ready to work Comfortable working outdoors in heat and weather Able to stand or walk most of the shift (up to 12 hours) Able to lift up to 50 lbs Willing to work overtime, weekends, and holidays when needed Previous general labor, warehouse, construction, or industrial experience is a plus—but not required.
