Job Description:

The CNC Machine Operator has experience with one or more of the following: Kinetic Plasma table, Peddinghaus Saw/Drill line, Peddinghaus Angle Master, Ficep Beamline. This position also requires experience with overhead cranes, detailed part marking, and manual lifting of 50lbs regularly.

DAILY RESPONSIBILITIESSelect correct machine settings for optimal operationsMeasure materials to assure conformance with design specificationsSelect correct material type, stock size and dimensionsTransfer appropriate data onto materialsKeep a clean, organized, and safe work areaKeep an accurate record of daily operations and material usagePerform routine preventative maintenance and assist in trouble shooting any machine issues

REQUIREMENTS

Experienced operating CNC plasma table or experience with sawing/drilling/cutting operations is requiredAbility to interpret blueprints, symbols and notes is preferredMust be able to read a tape measure to within 1/16"Ability to perform basic mathAbility to stand for a prolonged periodAbility to tolerate hot and cold working environmentsAbility to safely operator overhead cranes and the material transfer/convey systemTekla PowerFab experience preferred
