Job Description Job Overview:

Superior Septic is seeking a dependable, self-motivated Machine Operator to join our septic installation team. This is a hands-on position working alongside our install crews to complete residential and commercial septic system installations. The ideal candidate is comfortable operating heavy equipment, takes pride in their work, and understands the importance of working safely and efficiently as part of a team. Experience operating a skid steer and excavator is required . Septic experience is a plus , but we are willing to work with the right candidate who has solid equipment experience and is ready to learn. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Operate skid steers and excavators during septic system installations. Assist with excavation, grading, backfilling, and site preparation. Work alongside the installation crew to set septic tanks, prepare drainfields, and complete installation-related tasks. Help maintain a clean and organized jobsite. Perform basic daily equipment inspections and report maintenance or repair needs. Follow all safety procedures and company policies while operating equipment and working on jobsites. Work with crew members to complete installations safely, efficiently, and on schedule. Assist with physical labor and other installation duties as needed. Represent Superior Septic professionally while working at customers' homes and properties.

Requirements:

Experience operating a skid steer and excavator is required . Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

CLASS A CDL

preferred! Ability to safely and confidently operate heavy equipment. Ability to perform physical labor, work outdoors, and lift heavy objects as needed. Dependable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a crew. Strong attention to detail and good problem-solving skills. Septic, excavation, construction, underground utility, or similar experience is a plus. Ability to follow instructions while also working independently when needed.
