Event Rental Setup Crew / General Labor Paradise Event Rentals — Edgewater, FL Paradise Event Rentals is a locally owned and growing event rental company looking to add reliable, hardworking people to our crew. This is a seasonal position with the opportunity to grow into year-round, full-time employment for the right person. We are hiring immediately. What the Job Looks Like This is a hands-on, labor-intensive position. Our crews work outdoors, travel to different event locations, and install professional event equipment for weddings, corporate events, festivals, and other large events. Typical shifts range from 6-12 hours, and scheduling can vary depending on our event calendar. Our crews travel throughout Central Florida, including Palm Coast, Daytona Beach, New Smyrna Beach, Titusville, Orlando, and surrounding areas. Responsibilities Set up and break down large event tents, including clear-top wedding tents Install stages, dance floors, tables, chairs, lighting, and other event equipment Load and unload trucks and trailers Organize and maintain rental equipment Perform warehouse work and prepare equipment for upcoming events Clean and maintain rental inventory Operate forklifts when qualified Travel with the crew to event locations Interact professionally with customers, venue staff, coordinators, and vendors Work with the crew to complete setups safely and efficiently What We're Looking For We are looking for someone who is: Reliable A team player Someone who works with integrity Comfortable working outdoors for extended periods Physically capable of performing labor-intensive work Able to lift 60+ lbs Flexible with scheduling during busy event weeks Comfortable traveling throughout Central Florida Willing to learn skilled event installation and setup Preferred Experience The following are preferred but not required: Valid driver's license Reliable transportation to our Edgewater warehouse Customer service or professional communication experience Box truck driving experience Truck and trailer driving/towing experience Forklift experience Warehouse experience Construction, landscaping, moving, tent installation, outdoor labor, or event setup experience Experience working with tools and equipment Experience is a plus, but we're willing to train the right person. There is room to take on more responsibility, develop leadership skills, and grow with Paradise Event Rentals as the company continues to expand.

Pay:

$16.00 - $18.00 per hour
