This role ensures accurate folding of products according to job specifications, maintains equipment, and supports overall production efficiency. Education and Experience High School Diploma - or the equivalent (for example, GED) Knowledge

• Experience operating folding machines or similar finishing equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret job tickets and folding instructions.
• Basic mechanical aptitude for machine adjustments and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of various fold types and finishing processes.
• Experience in a print production or finishing environment. Skills
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Strong manual dexterity and mechanical skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
• Good communication and time management skills.
• Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift materials up to 50 lbs. Work Context Primary Job Duties
• Set up and operate folding machines according to job specifications and production schedules.
• Adjust folding settings to ensure proper fold types and dimensions.
• Monitor machine operation to ensure consistent fold quality and production speed.
• Inspect folded products for accuracy, quality, and defects.
• Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and minor troubleshooting on folding equipment.
• Maintain proper documentation including job logs, production counts, and quality reports.
• Communicate with supervisors and other departments to coordinate workflow.
• Adhere to all safety policies and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Maintain a clean and organized work area free of hazards.
• Assist with training new or cross-trained employees as needed.
• Report equipment malfunctions, safety concerns, or workplace incidents immediately.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Pay:

$15.00 - $18.00 per hour
