$18.00 per hour About FlagCo FlagCo is a veteran-owned flag and flagpole manufacturer in Acworth, Georgia. We build commercial flagpoles and flags and ship all over the country. Most of our work is in aluminum: fabrication, machining, finishing, and shipping, all under one roof. The Job We need a hands-on utility person to help out across the warehouse, the shop, finishing, and shipping. If you like working with your hands and want to learn how a manufacturing shop runs, this is a good place to start. People who show up, pay attention, and work safe get trained on more and can move into a machine operator or other skilled job. What You'll Do Warehouse

• Lift, carry, load, and unload aluminum flagpoles and materials, regularly up to 75 lbs.
• Run a forklift to move raw material, finished product, and pallets.
• Help shipping pick, stage, pack, and load orders.
• Receive incoming material and keep it organized and where it belongs.
• Keep the warehouse, production, and staging areas clean and organized. Shop

operators with loading, unloading, deburring, and cleanup.

• Move material and parts between work areas.
• Help set up and tear down jobs.
• Basic deburring, grinding, sanding, drilling, and cutting once you're trained.
• Look parts over for obvious defects and speak up when something's off. Sandblasting & Paint
• Mask, tape, and clean aluminum parts for finishing.
• Run the sandblaster and spray paint parts once you're trained, with the right PPE.
• Check finished surfaces and keep the blast and paint areas clean. General

• Clean and organize work areas, tools, and workstations.
• Empty scrap and recycling and keep materials separated.
• Help with basic equipment upkeep and preventative maintenance.
• Jump in wherever we need a hand. We're a small crew and everyone pitches in. What You Can Learn Here CNC basics, running the HAAS and DAEWOO, aluminum fabrication, reading drawings, measuring and inspection, finishing, lean and 5S, and safe equipment operation. Who We're Looking For
• Reliable. You show up on time, every day.
• Fine with a shop environment: machines, metal, dust, noise.
• Can safely deadlift 75 lbs and stay on your feet the whole shift.
• Forklift experience is a plus. If you're not certified, you'll need to be willing to get certified.
• Mechanically inclined, or want to be.
• Follow instructions and safety rules, and care about doing the job right.
• Want to grow into a skilled manufacturing job. Experience in manufacturing, warehouse, forklift, metalworking, CNC, sandblasting, painting, or fabrication is a plus but not required. We'll train the right person. Pay & Benefits
