Job Purpose The Machine Operator is responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining encapsulation machinery in accordance with company standards and regulatory requirements. This includes adhering to health, safety, and sanitation procedures, as well as following production schedules and quality control protocols to ensure safe and consistent product output. , and SQF requirements. Prepare machinery and workstations for daily use by completing pre-operation inspections and checklists. Add product to machines and adjust machine settings to meet product specifications. Monitor machine operation to identify malfunctions or inconsistencies and report issues to the Supervisor or Lead. Follow batch records and quality instructions, including protocols for addressing product deviations or defects. Maintain cleanliness of equipment, workstation, and surrounding area in accordance with sanitation SOPs. Assist with machine cleaning and minor maintenance tasks as required. Accurately assemble capsules or components and monitor output to meet production targets. Complete production documentation and cleaning logs in real time and with accuracy. Ensure adherence to safety procedures, including proper PPE usage and safe handling of materials. Participate in team meetings, training, and continuous improvement initiatives. Perform other related tasks as assigned to support production efficiency and product quality. Qualifications Familiarity with cGMP requirements for dietary supplement manufacturing Ability to work in a fast-paced, goal-driven environment Previous machine operation or manufacturing experience preferred Strong teamwork and communication skills Basic math, measurement, and record keeping skills Attention to detail and commitment to quality standards Physical dexterity and ability to stand for extended periods Availability for shift work and overtime as needed Education & Experience Requirements High School Diploma or GED preferred Previous experience in manufacturing, particularly supplement or food production, is a plus Basic understanding of machine operation and troubleshooting Work Requirements Must be able to stand, bend, and lift up to 25 to 50 lbs regularly Willingness to work in a controlled, cleanroom environment Compliance with PPE and hygiene protocols at all times Ability to learn and apply new systems, processes, or equipment Training Requirements Completion of onboarding and departmental hands-on training Annual refresher training in cGMPs, sanitation, and safety protocols Ongoing cross-training as needed for operational flexibility

$16.50 - $17.50 per hour
