What We Offer Pay based on experience Direct deposit & debit card payment options Health, vision, dental, life, and disability insurance Get weekends off Overtime available Training provided Temp-to-hire opportunity CNC Machinist Tasks & Duties (What You'll Do) Utilize SPC methods to produce and continually improve parts produced on all machines Understand blueprints specifications Understand and follow work instructions Document dimensional information accurately Document daily production levels accurately Complete all necessary documentation in a timely manner Responsible for loading parts, proving out CNC programs, operating controls, setting offsets, simple edits, deburring, and inspections of quality parts Interprets drawings, manuals, and specifications to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished work pieces, sequences of operations, etc. Responsible for keeping equipment, tooling, gages, and work area clean and orderly Perform preventative maintenance functions on equipment as required CNC Machinist Shift Info Day Shift, 5AM - 3PM Monday - Thursday CNC Machinist Qualifications (Requirements / Skills) Manufacturing experience Basic reading, writing, and math skills Forklift experience Able to lift up to 40 lbs. and stand for majority of the shift Manual dexterity required for operating machinery and computers Able to pass a drug screen Able to pass a background check Able to work in the US Within the scope of the job requirements, will be required to adhere to and comply with state and federal law, ISO Quality Program, and safety environmental regulations About Ascend Staffing Ascend Staffing has been connecting great people with real opportunities for over 50 years.
