Are you comfortable reading prints, checking parts with micrometers and calipers, and keeping accurate records? Do you know how to make tool changes and adjustments to keep cycle times tight and parts in spec? If so, you will feel right at home on our first-shift team in Loves Park. What you will do Operate cam-driven multi-spindle screw machines to meet job specs and work instructions. Watch the process closely and make adjustments to maintain quality and throughput. Perform in-process inspections using precision measuring instruments. Document production counts and quality checks clearly and on time. Handle basic preventative maintenance and report issues quickly. Follow all safety, quality, and production procedures. Maintain a clean, organized work area and collaborate with production and quality staff. What you bring Minimum 3 years of screw machine operating experience. Ability to interpret blueprints, drawings, and standard work. Hands-on skill with calipers, micrometers, and related precision gaging. Attention to detail, dependable attendance, and strong work ethic. Ability to troubleshoot basic machine and production issues. Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently when needed. Training pathway We are willing to train candidates experienced on Davenport, New Britain, Wickman, Greenlee, or similar screw machines to the specifics of our equipment. Pay, shift, and perks
Pay:
24 to 27 dollars per hour, based on experience.
Shift:
First shift, 6 am to 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday, with overtime available.
