We are seeking a Slitter / Machine Operator to join our team in Schiller Park, Il location!

Responsibilities:

Set up and Operate Slitter Machine to cut custom rolls of thermal laminating film Make adjustments to configuration and operational cycles. Make adjustments to the slitter to maintain machine performance and product quality; may include changing the rollers, blades, speed and tension. Maintain knowledge of all open orders and fulfill them in a timely manner based on the machine schedule. Ensure that all products in the production and warehouse areas are properly labeled at all times and in their proper location. Measure Accurately Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely fashion Load and unload materials, ability to maneuver 50-75lb rolls manually and larger ones with help of equipment Conduct routine preventive maintenance on the machinery Maintain clean work area Provide innovative solutions to improve plant efficiency

Qualifications:

Mechanically inclined Ability to read/convert ruler metric/standard Razor blade experience

• Forklift experience/certificate Previous experience in plant operations or other related fields Familiarity with plant tools and equipment Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills Ability to handle physical workload Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment Must have dependable transportation Due to the nature of the position and the communication involved the ability to speak fluent English is strongly desired.
