Position Summary Machine Operators are responsible for the setup, operation, and support of a variety of manufacturing equipment used in the production of medical device cases, trays, and components. This role ensures products are manufactured safely, efficiently, and in compliance with quality and regulatory requirements. What You'll Do Set up and operate manufacturing equipment and machinery Follow work instructions, process sheets, and production documentation Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications Monitor machine performance and make adjustments to maintain quality standards Perform first-piece and in-process inspections Inspect finished parts for cosmetic and dimensional accuracy Complete secondary operations such as deburring, polishing, cleaning, and part preparation Label, identify, and track products throughout the manufacturing process Complete required production and inspection documentation Assist with material movement and production support activities Escalate production or quality concerns to leadership promptly Maintain a clean, organized work area following 5S/6S standards Support prototype builds and continuous improvement initiatives Train team members once proficiency is demonstrated Perform other duties as assigned Equipment You May Operate Brake Press Extruder Turret Press Water Jet Laser Equipment Silkscreen Equipment Other production machinery and manufacturing equipment Qualifications Required High School Diploma or GED Ability to work overtime as needed Strong attention to detail Reliable attendance and positive attitude Ability to follow written instructions and quality standards Preferred Previous manufacturing, machine operation, or production experience Experience reading blueprints and technical drawings Familiarity with calipers, micrometers, and measuring devices Experience working in a regulated manufacturing environment Physical Requirements Stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the shift Frequently use hands and arms to operate equipment and handle materials Regularly push or pull up to 25 pounds Occasionally lift up to 50 pounds Ability to perform visual inspections of products and components Work in a manufacturing environment with moderate to high noise levels
Pay:
$19.98 - $24.00 per hour
