Steel Saw Operator Job Summary Thor Motor Coach is seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Steel Saw Operator to join our production team in Wakarusa. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining saw equipment used to cut steel and other metal materials to precise specifications. Prior experience working with steel is strongly preferred. Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust, and operate cold saws, band saws, or other cutting equipment to cut steel bar, tube, pipe, or plate
• Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and cut lists to determine correct dimensions, angles, and quantities
• Measure and mark materials accurately prior to cutting using tape measures, calipers, and other precision tools
• Inspect finished cuts for accuracy, quality, and conformance to specifications; make adjustments as needed
• Perform routine maintenance on saw blades and equipment, including changing blades, lubricating machinery, and reporting mechanical issues
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow all safety protocols, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and lockout/tagout procedures Qualifications
• Previous experience operating saws or other cutting equipment in a steel, metal fabrication, or manufacturing environment strongly preferred
• Ability to read blueprints, work orders, and measuring instruments (tape measure, calipers, micrometers)
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety
• Great attendance Physical Requirements
• Ability to stand, bend, and lift for extended periods
• Comfortable working around industrial machinery and in a production setting Work Environment This position operates in a manufacturing/production facility.
