We are looking for dependable, hardworking individuals to join our Event Setup Crew. We have positions available for weekends only , as well as positions for those available weekends plus some weekdays .This is a hands-on position assisting our team with loading and unloading delivery vehicles, transporting rental items, and setting up and breaking down events according to client specifications. Crew members work with a variety of items, including furniture, bars, scenic pieces, vases, candles, and other décor rentals.
Because we work in the event industry, our schedule is not 9-5. Start and end times vary based on our event schedule and may include early mornings, evenings, late nights, and long shifts. Responsibilities Load and unload event rental equipment from delivery vehicles Assist with event setups and breakdowns at venues throughout the Greater New Orleans area Set up furniture, bars, scenic pieces, candles, vases, and other décor according to event plans while inspecting for quality control and taking all measures needed to ensure items are to client's specifications Carefully handle rental inventory during loading, transportation, installation, breakdown & rewarehousing Follow instructions and event specifications closely Work efficiently while maintaining a high level of attention to detail Make sure finished setups are clean, properly positioned, and presentation-ready Some event prep is required Requirements Weekend availability Dependable and punctual Strong attention to detail Able to follow directions and work efficiently Able to work well both as part of a team and independently Comfortable working in a fast-paced event environment Ability to lift at least 40 lbs. Reliable transportation to our warehouse in Harvey, LA Ability to work a varying schedule , including early mornings, evenings, late nights, and long shifts as needed Dependability is essential. Our events run on strict timelines, and every crew member plays an important role in making sure our installations are completed correctly and on time.
