Working closely with Operators/Feeders, Maintenance, and Production leadership, the Machine Adjuster plays a key role in ensuring equipment runs efficiently while producing high-quality products that meet customer specifications. Key Responsibilities Set up and operate high-speed envelope manufacturing equipment Perform machine changeovers and job setups Adjust machine settings to optimize product quality and production speeds Inspect product quality during start-up and throughout production runs Troubleshoot mechanical and process-related issues to minimize downtime Work closely with Machine Operators/Feeders to ensure safe and efficient operation Feed and monitor machine consumables including paper, ink, and adhesive Perform routine machine maintenance and equipment cleaning Use hand tools, measuring devices, and mechanical equipment to perform adjustments Identify opportunities to improve machine performance and production efficiency Complete production and quality documentation as required Follow all safety policies, procedures, and housekeeping standards Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Strong mechanical aptitude is required Manufacturing, printing, packaging, converting, maintenance, automotive, or related experience is considered an asset Experience with machine setup, changeovers, troubleshooting, or production equipment is preferred Skilled trades education, mechanical technology diploma, or related training is an asset Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills Ability to read measuring devices and follow technical instructions Good communication skills Strong attention to quality and safety Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs Ability to differentiate colors Reliable attendance and punctuality Benefits Comprehensive Medical, Dental, and Health Benefits to support your well-being Retirement Plan
