Monday-Friday, 3:00 PM-11:00 PM Job Description Schulte Staffing is hiring a 2nd Shift Machine Operator for a manufacturing opportunity in Peabody, MA! We're looking for someone who is mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and eager to learn. Previous machine operation experience is a plus, but not required. If you're comfortable working with your hands, have strong basic math skills, and enjoy figuring out how things work, we'd love to hear from you! Responsibilities Set up, operate, and monitor manufacturing equipment. Inspect finished products to ensure quality and accuracy. Read and follow work orders, production instructions, and specifications. Use measuring tools to verify product dimensions and accuracy. Identify and report equipment issues or product defects. Make basic machine adjustments and assist with routine maintenance. Package finished products and prepare materials for shipment. Complete production paperwork and maintain accurate records. Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe. Qualifications Mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn are essential. Basic math skills required , including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, and decimals. Ability to read a ruler and use basic measuring tools. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions. Comfortable working with machinery and performing hands-on tasks. Previous manufacturing or machine operation experience is a plus, but not required. Reliable, dependable, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
