Operator 3, Packaging Operations

  • Sparks, MD[About the Role]Join a leading clinical and commercial packaging team as an Operator 3 in Sparks, MD. This contractor position plays a critical role in ensuring products meet quality and safety standards. You'll work in a collaborative, safety-focused environment with steady weekday hours (7:00 am
  • 3:30 pm, M-F) and competitive pay ($20.48/hr). If you're detail-oriented and ready to grow your manufacturing career, we want to meet you in person![Responsibilities
  • Manually inspect, label, and package clinical and commercial products to meet customer and quality specifications
  • Perform finished product packaging and in-process component inspections
  • Remove defective products and packaging materials to ensure consistent quality
  • Accurately document manufacturing activities, including device history records and inventory counts
  • Complete simple mathematical calculations for batch records
  • Assist with inventory counting and participate in safety audits
  • Engage in daily safety discussions and maintain routine cleaning of workstations and equipment
  • Follow all PPE and contamination control guidelines, including gowning
  • Safely handle hazardous waste as required[Required Skills and Experience
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum 2 years' industry work experience in a manufacturing or packaging environment
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
  • Team-oriented with solid communication skills
  • Familiarity with computers and basic software
  • Good documentation and record-keeping abilities
  • Able to perform basic math calculations
  • Willingness to work flexible or rotating shifts and overtime as needed
  • Safety shoes required[Preferred Skills
  • 5 years relevant industry experience
