Position Overview:

The Embroidery Trimmer/Finishing Assistant is responsible for the final finishing and quality inspection of embroidered garments, hats, patches, and other products. This position plays an important role in ensuring that completed embroidery meets company quality standards before items move to packing or the next stage of production.

Responsibilities:

Trim excess backing, stabilizer, thread, and jump stitches from completed embroidered items. Inspect embroidery for quality, accuracy, and overall appearance. Separate and flag defective items. Check embroidered items against samples, mockups, or production instructions when necessary. Maintain an organized and clean work area. Communicate production or quality issues to the Embroidery Department or appropriate staff. Maintain consistent production pace while meeting established quality standards. Assist with other embroidery department tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience helpful, but not required.
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects safely.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime if necessary.
