PEOPLEMARK

Is seeking a Grinder for our client in Fraser Michigan. Responsible for materials control functions, including receiving, production, and inventory control, materials storage and disbursement, shipping and traffic control.

Essential Job Functions:

Cleans the loader and hose on the press when performing mold changes.

Pulls all previous material:

hopper/grinder/ barrel or Gaylord away from the molding machine, and place in the designated area according to the Shut Down Check Sheet in the Job Packet. Maintains pallet and box staging areas on the production floor. Maintains the dryers, grinders, hoppers and barrels in proper working order, including keeping hoppers and concentrate feeders full. Follows the appropriate work instructions to prepare, dry and supply materials to the press in the correct condition. Insures that all containers are properly labeled. Supports job changes. Insures that all regrind materials are collected, labeled and kept in the appropriate containers and stored in the proper locations. Certifies that the presses have been supplied as required and that all materials from the previous jobs have been removed. Drives a Hi-Lo, or electric powered industrial truck, to move products within the plant. Follows all safety, housekeeping and company policies and procedures.

Additional Duties and Responsibilities:

Performs all other duties as assigned or required.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide numbers. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral or schedule form. Monday- Friday 1st shift 7am-3pm
