Job Description
Set up and operate Axis laser cutting machines and related equipment. Load and unload raw materials, sheet metal, and finished parts. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, work orders, and job travelers. Verify material type, thickness, and specifications before processing. Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments to optimize quality and productivity. Inspect finished products using measuring instruments and visual quality checks. Perform routine machine maintenance and cleaning activities. Troubleshoot equipment issues and notify maintenance personnel when necessary. Maintain accurate production records and documentation. Follow established safety procedures, quality standards, and company policies. Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines. Assist with changeovers and setup reductions to improve operational efficiency. Min of 5 years' experience with NTC 5-Axis Laser Equipment Min of 5 years' experience on Trumpf 3-Axis Laser Equipment Experience needs to be recent as well as candidates' main responsibility Ability to program at the machine Ability to maintain CNC programs Ability to lift 30lbs without assistance Ability to follow written and verbal directions Must be available to work overtime and weekends when needed 1st Shift Mon thru
