Additional Schedule Requirements:
Must be available for possible overtime, weekends, and holidays. Shift changes may also be required during peak production periods. Position Summary The Machine Operator operates electronic ID card issuance equipment to produce plastic identification cards in accordance with established production standards and approved requests. This role also performs quality checks, tracks production activity, maintains equipment, and updates systems to ensure accurate reporting. Responsibilities Operate ID card issuance equipment for daily plastic card production. Maintain accurate daily production logs. Run production and test files. Pull special requests from production files as needed. Perform basic troubleshooting, maintenance, and cleaning of ID card issuance machines. Submit service requests when equipment requires additional maintenance. Perform ongoing quality checks to ensure production standards are met. Update systems with job status and production information for accurate reporting. Use computer systems to fulfill requests, respond to inquiries, update reporting metrics, and track inventory. Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. Previous experience working in a production environment. Experience using Windows-based computer applications. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Good communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to learn new processes and equipment quickly. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Willing and able to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed. Willing and able to work a different shift during peak production periods. Training Must be able to learn and apply ID card issuance procedures related to plastic card production. Must complete departmental training on the operation and maintenance of ID card issuance equipment. Work Schedule This is an onsite position with a regular schedule of 6:00 AM-2:30 PM, Monday through Friday . Candidates must have flexibility to work overtime, weekends, holidays, or different shifts during peak production periods when required. #INDHP
