In this role, you will be responsible for preparing, blending, and processing dry ingredients to produce high-quality food products. Your expertise in food handling, equipment operation, and safety protocols will ensure efficient production while maintaining strict adherence to food safety standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced manufacturing environment where your skills directly impact product quality and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Verify that all ingredients are correct prior to starting the mixing process Follow work instructions for each specific product recipe Operate and monitor machinery used in dry ingredient mixing to ensure optimal performance and product consistency Transport product mix from the mixing equipment into a storage super sack Accurately weigh finished product mix that is in a storage super sack Complete required logs and documentation accurately Follow manufacturing standard operating procedures (SOPs) and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) to maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and regulatory compliance standards in the production area Conduct routine sanitation of equipment and workspaces to uphold HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) protocols and food safety management standards Assist with troubleshooting mechanical issues on equipment, performing basic mechanical repairs or notifying maintenance for complex problems Adhere strictly to safety standards by using personal protective equipment (PPE), following safety protocols, and practicing safe manual handling techniques including heavy lifting Support continuous improvement initiatives by documenting process deviations, participating in safety training, and maintaining accurate production records Requirements High school diploma or GED Prior experience in food production, manufacturing environment with knowledge One year minimum of mixing experience preferred Familiarity with machine operation, mechanical troubleshooting, and basic math skills for measuring ingredients accurately Knowledge of sanitation procedures, HACCP principles, GMP regulations, and safety standards within a food manufacturing setting Ability to operate material handling equipment such as forklifts safely (certification preferred) Strong understanding of regulatory/legal compliance standards applicable to food processing industries Physical ability to perform heavy lifting up to 50lbs., stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive tasks efficiently Ability to pass National Background Check and Drug Screening Join our team to be part of a vibrant environment where your skills help produce safe, high-quality dry ingredients enjoyed by consumers worldwide.
