Position Overview We are seeking a motivated Automated Cell Operator to operate and support fully automated press forging cells, including robotic systems. This role is ideal for someone with mechanical aptitude who enjoys troubleshooting, optimizing processes, and working in a high production industrial environment. You'll play a key role in maximizing uptime, improving efficiency, and ensuring quality standards are consistently met. Key Responsibilities Operate and monitor fully automated press forging cell(s). Perform die changes and new job set-ups; verify jobs are set up correctly and safely. Test, debug, and troubleshoot robotic cells and automation systems. Identify forging flaws or quality issues and recommend process improvements. Monitor and maintain die lubrication systems. Perform basic maintenance on presses and supporting equipment; escalate larger repairs as needed. Document maintenance, repairs, and process modifications accurately. Ensure production and quality standards are met in PLEX. Handle raw materials, finished goods, and scrap for assigned cell(s). Collaborate with engineering, production, and maintenance teams to improve performance. Maintain strict adherence to safety procedures and PPE requirements. Perform other duties as assigned.
