This is a first shift position and requires a pre-employment background and drug test Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated Packaging Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining agricultural chemical packaging machinery to ensure efficient and high-quality production. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical aptitude, safety awareness, and experience with industrial equipment. Responsibilities Operate packaging machines efficiently, ensuring adherence to production schedules and quality standards Conduct routine inspections of equipment, perform basic troubleshooting, and make minor adjustments as needed Handle materials and finished products using material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts Follow safety protocols, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), to maintain a safe work environment Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area in compliance with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) standards Assist with setup, calibration, and changeovers of packaging machinery for different product runs Document production data accurately and report any machine malfunctions or safety concerns promptly Support warehouse operations by managing inventory levels of packaging supplies and materials Use hand tools and machining techniques for minor repairs or adjustments to equipment when necessary Requirements Proven experience operating packaging machinery within a manufacturing or food production setting Knowledge of industrial equipment troubleshooting and mechanical systems Ability to perform basic math calculations related to measurements, weights, and counts Familiarity with safety standards in production environments, including GMP and CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices) Experience operating material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse tools Strong understanding of food safety protocols and safety protocol adherence Mechanical knowledge related to machining, equipment maintenance, and troubleshooting Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Prior warehouse experience is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for qualified candidates If you are motivated by precision, safety, and efficiency in a manufacturing environment, we encourage you to apply today.
