Join the St. Cloud Rox Baseball Club for a summer internship to gain vast behind-the-scenes experience in the sports industry. The Rox are an industry leader in fan support, community engagement, staff development, along with consistently creating a ballpark environment that is incredibly entertaining and fun for fans and staff. The Rox have a proven track record of providing interns with the hands-on experience and knowledge that will be useful in competing for jobs in the sports industry. Many former Rox interns have landed a fulltime job with sports organizations after their internship. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic, a strong communicator with the ability to work in a team environment, have an eagerness to learn, and possess the flexibility to adapt to what each day brings with a positive attitude. The Rox will work with you to fulfill requirements for college credit if necessary. This position starts in May and lasts through mid-August.

Assistant General Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Leads the setup of the ballpark for each game day. This includes but is not limited to setting up tables, chairs, flags, beverage coolers, signage & tents.
• Assists in coordinating and placing ballpark deliveries (promotional & concession items).
• Help with setup of merchandise area prior to the game so it is ready for sales.
• Support ballpark quality control such as cleanliness of seats and walkways
• Fills freezers with ice for training staff & concessions.
• Helps with food and beverage inventory, setup, cleaning and point of sales.
• Support the coordinating of gameday hospitality staff and volunteers.
• Helps with pre- and post-game ballpark clean up.
• Assist with non-Rox events at Joe Faber Field.
• Help fulfill food and beverage orders if needed on game days and non-game days
• Support other departments as needed, such as delivering marketing materials
• Other duties that are assigned
