Inserter/Ink Jet Operator - Mail Production Summary Square One is a trusted national marketing company serving direct marketing agencies and corporate America. We are a growing company looking to hire a print and mailing machine operator to support our production team . Job Description The position will be responsible for monitoring and operating high speed mail insertion machines and ink jet equipment. Job Responsibilities Set up and operate Pitney Bowes Rival inserting equipment and Kirk-Rudy inkjet systems. Monitor equipment during production to ensure efficient and accurate operation. Inspect finished mail pieces to verify compliance with established USPS standards and quality requirements. Record daily production totals and completed work in the operating system. Perform routine preventive maintenance, including cleaning equipment, refilling ink and water, and making minor machine adjustments. Troubleshoot basic equipment issues to minimize downtime and maintain production schedules. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Assist with other mailroom production tasks as needed. Qualifications Previous experience operating Pitney Bowes Rival , Kirk-Rudy , or similar mail insertion and inkjet equipment preferred. Experience working in a mailroom or high-volume production environment. Familiarity with USPS mailing standards and quality requirements. Basic mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform routine maintenance and minor troubleshooting. Strong attention to detail and ability to meet production deadlines. Must be able to work overtime as needed.
