Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Bridge Saw Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating specialized bridge saw machinery to cut and shape stone, marble, granite, and other materials with precision and efficiency. Your expertise will ensure that materials are processed according to blueprint specifications, safety standards, and quality expectations. Responsibilities Operate bridge saw machines safely and efficiently to cut stone and other materials according to detailed blueprint drawings and specifications Measure and mark materials accurately using tape measures, calipers, and other hand tools to ensure precise cuts Follow safety protocols diligently, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as respiratory protection, gloves, eye protection, and steel-toed boots Handle heavy materials with proper lifting techniques or equipment such as forklifts and cranes when necessary Perform routine maintenance on machinery, including cleaning, lubrication, and minor repairs using hand tools and power tools Verify dimensional measurements regularly during production to maintain quality standards and minimize waste Assist with fabrication, polishing, stone finishing, and assembly processes as needed within the manufacturing environment Skills Proven experience operating heavy equipment such as bridge saws or similar machinery in a manufacturing or construction setting Mechanical knowledge of machinery components, troubleshooting techniques, and basic machining principles Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, tape measures, calipers, and other measurement devices Strong understanding of safety standards in production environments, including PPE use and adherence to safety regulations Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, or specifications accurately for precise material cutting Knowledge of materials handling procedures for heavy or bulky items in warehouse or fabrication settings Familiarity with fabrication processes such as stone finishing, polishing, welding, or machining is a plus Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to dimensions and material quantities Experience with forklift operation or heavy equipment handling is advantageous Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high safety standards Join our team as a Bridge Saw Operator if you're passionate about craftsmanship, safety-conscious work practices, and delivering top-quality products.
