Full Job Description First Shift:
5:00 am to 3:00 pm Monday through
Thursday Second Shift:
2:30 pm to 12:30 am Monday through Thursday This is an entry-level, hourly position. Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check. We are looking for machine operators to support production by ensuring the finished product meets quality standards and customer-specific requirements. The machine operator oversees line-level quality, visual inspection, and verifies proper labeling and packaging at the work center.
Key Responsibilities:
Inspections:
Performs visual inspection for each job based on work instructions and customer-required specifications.
Process Improvement:
Assist in identifying opportunities for improvement and root cause analysis.
Production Support:
Support production teams with troubleshooting, defect resolution, and ensuring adherence to Standard Operating Procedures and Customer Specific Requirements.
Auditing:
Participate in internal quality audits and support external and customer audits.
Qualifications and Skills Required Experience:
None required; experience in a plastic injection molding facility preferred.
Technical Knowledge:
Familiarity with quality management systems (e.g.
ISO 9001, IATF 16949
), measurement tools, preferred.
Soft Skills:
Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset, good communication skills, and the ability to work in a team environment.
Software Skills:
None required.
Math Skills:
Add and subtract up to four-digit numbers, perform basic multiplication and division.
