NP MFG Group is looking for dependable, mechanically inclined individuals to join our team as Acme Screw Machine Operator. This is a hands-on manufacturing position operating equipment that produces precision metal parts. We are seeking both experienced operators and candidates with mechanical aptitude who are interested in building a career in machining and manufacturing. What You'll Do Operate Acme Gridley screw machines to produce precision metal parts. Load steel bars into machines and run parts according to blueprint specifications. Check finished parts using precision measuring tools to make sure quality standards are met. Monitor machines during production and make adjustments as needed. Assist with machine setup and troubleshooting as skills develop. Maintain a clean and safe work area. Follow company safety and quality procedures. Work independently as experience and skills develop. What We're Looking For Previous Acme screw machine experience is a plus but not required. We will consider candidates with mechanical aptitude, hands-on experience, and a willingness to learn. Training on our Acme Gridley machines, processes, and quality requirements will be provided. Mechanical aptitude and an interest in working with machines, tools, and equipment. Some manufacturing, machining, automotive, mechanical, maintenance, or other hands-on experience is helpful. Ability and willingness to learn how to read blueprints and use precision measuring equipment. Dependable and able to work with minimal supervision as skills develop. Ability to stand for the duration of the shift and repeatedly lift up to 50 lbs. Reliable transportation. Ability to pass required pre-employment screening. Helpful Experience - But Not Required Experience in any of the following is helpful. Candidates do not need to have all these skills: Acme Gridley or other screw machines Machine operation or machining Manufacturing or production equipment Blueprint reading Precision measuring tools Mechanical or automotive work Machine setup or troubleshooting Available Schedules 1st
