| Monday - Thursday | 8:30PM to 7:00AM [4 tens]

Pay:

$23.00-$27.00 per hour (includes shift differential)

• Candidates will be considered based on experience level, with more experienced operators prioritized for higher-level roles.

REQUIREMENTS

LEVEL 3 & 4 3-5

years' experience operating machines and/or presses in a cold-formed metal products environment Experienced with jib cranes, overhead cranes, etc. Ability to perform base level troubleshooting regarding simple progression dies Comfortable setting up supporting auxiliary such as but not limited to feeders, straighteners, sensors, uncoils, coil reels and spray lubricators Experience entering production and quality data into ERP programs Ability to recognize, report, and document material defects or questionable conditions. Capability to obtain forklift certification and train within 90 days of hire Experience using Infor Cloud Suite and/ or Shop-Trak is a plus

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF A PRESS OPERATOR

Follow all safety protocols and maintain compliance with company standards Maintain a clean, organized, hazard-free work area Detects and reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor Support production goals by ensuring quality and timely output Demonstrates working knowledge of required measuring tools and uses them accurately Performs required data entry tasks with attention to detail Understands machine functions and operates equipment safely and effectively Capable of performing initial setup on equipment (training provided)

PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or GED 3-5 years' experience working in a metal stamping or cold-formed steel environment Forklift experience Experience using Infor Cloud Suite and/ or Shop-Trak is a plus

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY

This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities. TRAVEL No travel is expected for this position.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling and climbing all day. The employee must frequently lift or move items up to 40 pounds daily. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions. The noise level in the work environment and the job sites can be loud.
