A Piqua manufacturer is looking for a Heavy Lifter / Operator @ $18 per hour on 1st shift. Join our production team and you will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet company specifications. You will be running various machines, to include a punch press, steel press, router, grinder, or an auto roller. This is a Heavy Industrial Operator position .

Hours:

7 AM- 3:30 PM, Monday-Friday .. Online Employment Application MUST be completed to be considered ..

Responsibilities:

Operate various machines in a fast paced production environment.. Follow written instructions regarding the customers' requirements. Record scrap and enter counts into the computer at the end of each shift. Maintain proper 5S conditions and housekeeping around all machines. Conduct thorough inspections of products using various measuring tools, including calipers and coordinate measuring machines. Utilize visual inspection to identify defects or inconsistencies in products. . Document inspection results and report any non-conformities or issues to management.

Requirements:

6 months of Previous machine operator experience. Experience with coordinate measuring machines and visual inspections is a plus. Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Valid Driver's License Your Own Transportation A Clean Background with NO Felony Conviction High School Diploma or GED Able to Pass an Employment Drug Screen...

NO THC Heavy Lifting:

Able to lift 20-40 lbs., several times per shift. A Solid Work History, NO Gaps Previous Manufacturing Experience Required.
