$40.00 - $46.00/hour Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Structural Technician IV to support advanced aerospace and manufacturing assembly operations. This position is responsible for performing complex structural assembly, modification, inspection, and repair activities while ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and engineering requirements. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience interpreting technical drawings, installing aerospace fasteners, and supporting large-scale manufacturing projects. Key Responsibilities Perform highly complex structural assembly and modification activities. Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and work instructions. Execute drilling, reaming, countersinking, riveting, and precision fitting operations. Install and inspect various aerospace fasteners, including rivets and hi-locks. Verify dimensions using precision measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers. Conduct quality inspections and ensure compliance with manufacturing standards. Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to resolve technical issues. Mentor and support technicians across multiple skill levels. Assist with process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and quality. Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in accordance with safety requirements. Document work progress and update production tracking systems. Required Qualifications High school diploma, GED, or equivalent. 8+ years of relevant structural assembly, aerospace manufacturing, or related experience. Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints and technical documentation. Experience with precision drilling, riveting, fitting, assembly, and repairs. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to work with calibrated inspection and measurement tools. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical job duties in a manufacturing environment. Must possess personal tools in good working condition. Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance preferred where applicable. Preferred Qualifications Associate degree in Aerospace Manufacturing or a related field. Aerospace manufacturing certifications. Experience supporting aerospace, defense, military, or Department of Defense programs. Previous leadership or mentoring experience. Ability to travel as needed. Work Environment Fully on-site manufacturing environment. Frequent standing, walking, bending, and repetitive hand movements. Exposure to varying temperatures, loud noise, and industrial equipment.
