Through continued investment in equipment, automation, and process technology, Benton Foundry operates a modern facility backed by an experienced technical team and a growth-oriented mindset. We proudly serve the agriculture, construction, fluid handling, mining, and industrial equipment markets from North Central Pennsylvania. We are seeking a Robotic Grinding Operator to support finishing operations in our foundry. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-minded, and comfortable working in a heavy industrial environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Operate robotic grinding equipment used to clean, grind, and finish gray and ductile iron castings.

Load castings into fixtures or workstations and unload finished parts safely and efficiently.

Start, stop, and monitor machine cycles to maintain production flow.

Inspect castings before and after grinding for visible defects, excess material, and surface finish quality.

Verify finished parts meet quality standards and report defects or irregularities.

Perform routine operational tasks such as part positioning, fixture checks, and basic authorized adjustments.

Change or assist with changing fixtures, tooling, or workholding components as needed.

Follow production schedules, work instructions, and standard operating procedures.

Report equipment malfunctions, abnormal operation, wear, or breakage promptly.

Work with supervisors, maintenance, quality, and other team members to resolve production or quality issues.

Use gauges, templates, and basic measuring devices as needed.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

Follow all company safety rules, PPE requirements, and safe work practices. Qualifications High school diploma or GED, or equivalent manufacturing or industrial experience

Manufacturing, foundry, grinding, or machine operation experience preferred

Experience with robotic or automated equipment is a plus

Ability to follow instructions and work safely in a heavy industrial environment

Basic measuring tool or blueprint-reading experience is helpful

Reliable attendance and willingness to work overtime as needed Work Schedule Night shift: Typically, 5:30 PM to 4:00 AM, Monday through Thursday
