Job Summary We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating a variety of industrial machinery to produce high-quality components and finished products. Your expertise in machine operation, technical troubleshooting, and precision measurement will ensure optimal performance, safety, and efficiency throughout the production process. Duties Set up, operate, and monitor various manufacturing machines including CNC machining centers, CNC lathes, milling machines, stamping presses, press brake machines, and flexo presses. Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and production documents to ensure accurate fabrication and assembly of parts. Utilize precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges to verify dimensional accuracy and adherence to specifications. Troubleshoot industrial equipment issues promptly to minimize downtime and maintain continuous production flow. Perform routine maintenance and safety checks on machinery in accordance with safety standards in production. Handle materials and tooling with care using forklifts or hand tools as needed for materials handling and setup. Collaborate with team members on assembly line tasks, fabrication projects, or packaging processes to meet production goals efficiently. Skills Proficiency in CNC programming, CAM programming, and CNC machining operations. Strong understanding of mechanical blueprint reading and mechanical blueprint interpretation. Experience with Fanuc controls or other programmable logic controllers (PLCs) used in automated manufacturing equipment. Knowledge of shop math including basic calculations necessary for machining and fabrication tasks. Ability to interpret GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) for precise manufacturing tolerances. Skilled in the use of precision measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, and gauges for quality control. Familiarity with SolidWorks or CAD software for interpreting technical drawings or designing parts. Hands-on experience with factory equipment troubleshooting and industrial safety standards compliance. Capable of operating forklifts safely for materials handling within the manufacturing facility. Basic understanding of packaging procedures and materials handling techniques. Strong mechanical knowledge related to fabrication processes including stamping presses, CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, press brakes, and CAM programming. Excellent shop math skills combined with attention to detail for maintaining high-quality standards in production. From $18.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
