Die-Cast Process Technician Zing Recruiting is partnering with an automotive manufacturer in the Laurens, SC area to find an experienced Die-Cast Process Technician to join their team! Die-Cast Process Technician Job Summary:

2nd, 3rd

Overtime Responsibilities:

Set up and perform planned and unplanned changeovers on high-pressure aluminum die-casting cells Monitor and maintain process parameters to ensure consistent production Safely melt and transfer aluminum to die-casting equipment Troubleshoot process issues and improve machine performance Work with Quality teams to meet automotive specifications and customer requirements Support root cause analysis using 5-Why and 8D problem-solving methods Coordinate tooling repairs and equipment maintenance Perform Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and support preventative maintenance activities Identify opportunities to reduce scrap, minimize downtime, and improve productivity Train and mentor production employees on equipment operation, process standards, and quality requirements

Die-Cast Process Technician Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED required Minimum of 4 years of hands-on high-pressure aluminum die-casting experience Experience with die-casting cell setup, process troubleshooting, and production support Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of equipment maintenance Familiarity with automotive quality tools, including SPC, FMEA, APQP, MSA, and PPAP Experience with root cause analysis, corrective actions, and continuous improvement Ability to work 1st, 2nd, 3rd, rotating, or continental shifts as needed Willingness to work overtime and provide off-shift support when required Why Join Us?
