Choate Engineering Performance LLC is looking for a motivated CNC Assistant/Apprentice to join their team in Bolivar, TN! This is a fantastic opportunity to learn the craft of CNC machining from the ground up in a hands-on, fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:

Assist CNC machinists and operators with daily machining operations and production tasks Learn to set up, operate, and monitor CNC machines under the guidance of experienced staff Support quality control by inspecting finished parts for accuracy and conformance to specifications Help with loading and unloading raw materials and finished components Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with shop standards Assist with basic machine maintenance and tooling changes Follow blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders as directed

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED preferred Interest in CNC machining, manufacturing, or mechanical engineering Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn precision machining techniques Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints or technical drawings is a plus Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player with a positive attitude Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs as needed
