In Flat Storage, employees will assist in the proper processing of our bulk warehouse items associated with our Feed mill. This position is not climate controlled and is subject to working in very cold to extreme hot weather conditions. The work involves unloading bulk products from delivery trucks using heavy equipment such as forklifts and tractors to safely move products within the warehouse. The product will then be processed using grinders, turbo separators, and feed mixers to reduce the product to fine powder and then sent to our Feed mill for further processing. In addition to processing the bulk ingredients, workers will also assist in breaking down boxes and other packaging using a baler. All these processes, both processing bulk ingredients and breaking down storage boxes, are subject to dust.
