Job Description

Quanex is looking for a Door Sawyer in Arlington TX . This position is responsible for working with team members to cut and assemble door screen frames to changing specifications. The schedule is Monday-Friday from 6:00 am - 2:30 pm. We Offer You! Dynamic Culture & People What Success Looks Like:
Cuts various components based on customer specifications and quality standards. Follows all safety procedures, rules, and guidelines; and notifies the supervisor of any existing or potential safety issues. Reads instructions from computer monitor ensuring proper length, type and color of materials. Verifies size, color, customer, configuration (hardware), according to labeling system. Applies labels to frame upon completion. Visually inspects product for defects throughout process. Follows all standard operating procedures Meet or exceed the production standards for the position.
Your Credentials:
At least 6 months of production, assembly or related work experience preferred. High school education or equivalent preferred. Ability to stand throughout the full shift (8 hours/day) Ability to use hand tools including tape measure air drill, pneumatics fixed straight-cut saw. Ability to follow both written and verbal directions. Ability to perform repetitive work requiring high levels of concentration. Must have flexibility to work occasional overtime or additional shift.
